oh-my-zsh installation
I perfer to use iterm.app
, so install iterm with brew.
brew install --cask iterm2
- Install various apps

- Run
sudo vim ~/.zshrc
to edit with below
export ZSH="$HOME/.oh-my-zsh"
ZSH_THEME="powerlevel10k/powerlevel10k"
#edit the default theme to powerlevel10k
ENABLE_CORRECTION="true"
#take the comment # off

Run
source ~/.zshrc
, then openiterm.app
, follow the instruction as shown on screen. Ensure to install new fontMesloLGS
. - Use
p10k configure
for reconfiguration. ~/.zshrc.pre-oh-my-zsh
is the file contains old zshrc content.
vscode font
- Open: Users > name > library > Application Support > Code > User > settings.json, add below line to the json file
"terminal.integrated.fontFamily": "MesloLGS NF"
zsh-syntax-highlighting tweak
- By default, the directory path and file comes with underline. You can tweak it by running below 2 commands from the terminal.
